The Resort and the
scuba diving school Cocktail Divers are sister companies. This guarantees
you a hasslefree vacation since basically all services are under
one roof. Everything from diving, day trips, island hopping, and
trekking to parties can be organized at the Resort.
|
To live up to the
standards of the Resort name "Garden of Eden", native
fruit trees, orchids and tropical plants are planted throughout
the property. The idea is that guests can enjoy fresh fruit right
from the fruit trees. Mango, banana, papaya, lemon, local oranges
and coconuts are growing everywhere. Currently parts of the facility
are being renovated and improved. We will keep you informed on the
progress in our news.

The Resort has three different types of rooms. We have
De Luxe Fan Bungalows, Aircon and Aircon plus rooms. The restaurant
serves breakfast, local and international cuisine and is specialiced
in seafood for Resort and walk-in guests. You can enjoy the
sun while enjoying draft beer or exotic cocktails. WLAN for
a nominal fee is available.

- De Luxe Fan Room Bungalows are typical
Philippine style nipa-huts with new furniture, European
style, tiled bathroom with many amenities including cold
showers. The bed, living room, closet and table are all
made of bamboo and rattan. The interior has the ambience
of modern living, while the exterior blends in well with
the tropics and nature. The exterior wall finish and the
railing of the veranda are made of bamboo and sawali (a
local material similar to bamboo). The veranda has a fan
and a fridge to cool your drinks.
- Aircon Rooms are for people who prefer
resting from the tropical temperatures and the humidity
every now and then. Basically the rooms have all the amenities
and facilities of the De Luxe Rooms plus aircon and hot
water additionally. They are located at the top of the hill
were you have an amazing view of the Batangas Bay and Verde
Strait.
- Aircon Plus Rooms are
for guests who like more space, or for families who require
an extra bed. Our Aircon Plus Suites satisfy guests who
expect more luxury and comfort. They all have cable TV.
The seven boats from the dive shop can carry up to 70 divers.
If you want to have a day-off from diving you can discover
the backcountry of Mindoro on your own with our 4-Wheel drive
McArthur type rental Jeep. For a variety of other activities
see “daily excursions”. You can sunbathe or relax
in our lounge chairs at our pool, while having a chat with
other divers, or just enjoy the scenery of Sabang Bay.
