Taal Vulkano Tour
The mountain village of Tagaytay and the neighboring Taal Volcano
is located approximately 70 km or about a 1.5 hour drive south of
Manila. Tagaytay is the weekend getaway of the people of Manila
who need a break from the stress of the congested metropolis and
who want to enjoy a cooler environment. Tagaytay is about 2,800
feet above sea-level.
Tagaytay lies halfway to Puerto Galera with a fascinating and beautiful
scenery along the way.Taal Volcano, one of the worlds smallest volcanos,
is located at the center of a lake within an old crater. From Tagaytay
you drive down a steep, winding road to the lake were you board
a small outrigger boat. Upon arrival on the island volcano, you
climb the peak of the new crater on horseback to see what they call
"a lake within a lake". Many divers choose this trip on
their last day to gain one additional day of vacations.
Pagsanjan Waterfalls
| The municipality of Pagsanjan is located approximately 80
km or a 1.5 hour drive southeast of Manila. You reach the access
point of La Corona de Pagsanjan, a very interesting hideaway.
Using a small canoe, two local guides take you upstream the
Pagsanjan River to the waterfalls, passing through fascinating
tropical virgin forests and canyons. After the boat ride you
can can enjoythe waterfalls on a bamboo raft. Then you have
two hours to explore or relax the falls they take you back at
breath taking high speed, shooting the rapids to the starting
point. That is why Francis Ford Coppola chose this scenic place
for his movie "Apocalypse Now" . This site is a must
for any visitor to the Philippines. We recommend bringing extra
dry clothing because you will get wet! |
Manila City Tour
Metro Manila is a metropolis consisting of 14 cities. Manila is
the oldest city and one of the most interesting.
- China Town, which is part of Manila is a “must see”
for European Tourists. Besides cheap shopping (especially dive
watches), its far-east ambience is very exotic and attractive
for Europeans. The Chinese cemetery with expensive monumental
buildings is also interesting.
- Intramuros, also a part of Manila, dates back to the Spanish
conquistadors regime and shows the last traces of Spanish rule.
, Old Spanish buildings like churches and the old wall of the
Fort invite you to a nice stroll.
- Makati, the center of business with its giant high-rise buildings,
luxury shopping malls and expensive restaurants is the opposite
of Manila.
- Nayong Pilipino, at Pasay City close to the Airport is the
place to go if you want to see the Philippines in a nutshell.
All 13 regions of the country are represented. The famous "Bamboo
Organs" at Las Pinas City are also a very popular attraction.
They were built by a German inside a century old church.
Sabang Tour
This trip starts right at your Resort. With our 4WD Jeep or a rental
Jeepney, cruise through beautiful mountain roads along the coastline
to the waterfalls, were you will be amazed by the unspoiled nature.
After relaxing at the bottom of the falls you are now ready for
your next stop, the White Beach. On the way you will visit the "Mangyans
Tribe", aborigines of the Island of Mindoro in their natural
environment. White Beach is the best place for swimming because
of its large sandy beach. On the way back, you may pass through
the "Pondarosa" 9-hole Golf course. At the summit you
will have a spectacular view of Puerto Galera Peninsula. Last Stop
will be the municipality of Puerto Galera before heading back to
the Resort.
Jeep Tour
Individuals who want to discover the backcountry of Mindoro, meet
locals and aborigines, can rent our 4WD McArthur - type jeep. You
can spend an adventurous day driving challenging roads, far away
from the stress of diving.
